Overall: 
Smackers Sports Grill is a small local restaurant and bar located halfway between Waynesville and Maggie Valley NC. It’s a common stopping point for bickers traveling through the mountains. But don’t let it’s somewhat ragged appearance turn you off. Smackers is a great place to eat and it won’t drain your wallet either.
Our take: Good food, low prices, relaxed and not super busy. Could be a little cleaner and nicer, but no major complaints. Definitely check it for a good beer and burger.

I would love to know what you mean by cleaner and nicer???? I am there all the time and it couldnt get any cleaner. They have a health score of 101.5….The only reason they didn’t get a 102 (The highest score possible) is because the owner wasn’t going to make the wait staff wear hair nets.
