In the mood for some simple, inexpensive but great Italian food? Look no further than Garlic Knots, located in central Maggie Valley.

The Restaurant

Garlic Knots isn’t a big place, so be careful as it’s easy to drive right by it. Don’t be fooled by the perceived size though, as upon entering you’ll find the restaurant has plenty of room for a decent sized crowd. The bathrooms on the other hand are the smallest I’ve ever seen, but hey, can’t have everything right? Garlic Knots isn’t fancy but it’s not low class either. Frankly we find it just right for relaxed and informal casual dining.

For those that have either lived in Maggie for a while or have been visiting Maggie Valley for years, you’ll remember that Garlic Knots was previously called the Maggie Valley Pizzeria. The restaurant was acquired by new owners, spruced up a bit and renamed to Garlic Knots.

Garlic Knots is divided into two sections, the front area and the rear bar area. The bar serves wine and draft beers, but no liqueur or mixed drinks. Prior to a few weeks ago, the bar area was also the restaurants smoking area. But now that there is a North Carolina ban on smoking in public places, it’s just another part of the restaurant. Unless the place is just swamped, you can expect to be seated in the front area. The only time I’ve seen the bar actually being used is when my wife and I visit to grab a to-go order, when we use to drink a glass of wine or beer while waiting.

The Menu

The Garlic Knots menu is what you would expect to find at a small time pizzeria/Italian restaurant. My wife and I have been many times and have tried many of the dishes and are yet to get something we didn’t like. The food is outstanding. Here are just a few of the selections from the menu:

Appetizers: Mozzarella Sticks, Fried Mushrooms, Garlic Knots

Soups and Salads: House Salad, Antipasto Salad, Chef Salad, Greek Salad, and Chicken Salad. Available soups depend on the day and vary.

Entrees: Chicken Parmesan, Ravioli (spinach, cheese and meat), Manicotti, Chicken Cacciatore, Lasagna, Eggplant Parmesan, Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti

Pizza: Palermo, Meat, Veggie, White, Vally Special, Calzones

They also offer a number of cold and warm sub selections that are excellent.

My wife always gets the Calzones, which are the best we’ve ever had anywhere. In addition to the Calzone, my favorites include the chicken Parmesan, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Spinach Ravioli. Our kids love the Calzones and pizza.

Our favorite of everything are the Garlic Knots. No matter what, make sure place an order for the warm garlic knots. They are absolutely out of this world. I’ve considered just making a meal on them a few times!

Staff and Service

Service is my only issue and complaint with Garlic Knots. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly and always willing to be of service. The problem is they are seldom under staffed. The wait staff works diligently to provide great service, but sometimes they are so busy with the number of tables they have they just can’t. This is a minor grievance for us, as we are seldom in a hurry when visiting, but could be a concern for others. The owners and management need to do a little better job anticipating traffic and staffing appropriately.

Garlic Knots is small family owned business, and as a result chances are you just might be served by the owners or their children.

Family Friendly

Garlic Knots is absolutely family friendly and offers a kids menu. You’ll often find the restaurant’s owner’s grandchildren helping out and entertaining the customers. Their grand daughter loves to come over and talk to our daughter. With that said, we did visit last week and found that they only have 2 high chairs in the whole restaurant. Both of which were being used by a family at another table. Our daughter had to sit in a chair. While she did fine, it did make us a little nervous.

Price

Garlic Knots prices are very reasonable, with the average meal falling into the $7 - $8 mark. Sandwiches being a little less expensive, and full entree’s being a little more. Overall though and excellent value considering how great the food is. The value is so good, that Garlic Knots is the family restaurant of choice for us and our 6 children when we eat out as a family.

Our Rating

We love Garlic Knots and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maggie Valley/Waynesville NC area. The food is great, the environment relaxed, and the price point spot on.

Lomo GrillFor this review, we headed back to historic downtown Waynesville and decided to try the Lomo Grill, located on Church street just off Main Street.  The entrance to Lomo Grill is so discrete that you can almost drive right by and never even know its there, but certainly don’t make that mistake.  The Lomo Grill is now one of our favorite places in the Waynesville area.

The Restaurant

Lomo Grill is owned by Chef Ricardo Fernandez and his wife Suzanne who opened Lomo Grill in 1995 when they moved from South Florida share their supurb culinary skills with Western North Carolina.  The array of menu items is a bit hard to describe, so I’ll leave it to the experts at Southern Living who said: “Mediterranean cuisine with an Argentine grill”.  If like me you aren’t exactly sure what that means, let me translate: “Delicious“.

I knew where the restaurant was located, an followed the directions for parking from the website which stated “Parking is available across the street”.  Turns out, parking isn’t available across the street.  The lot across from the reserved is all reserved.  Parking is available in a limited amount on the street and also behind the restaurant.  Unfortunately for us it was raining, so we got a little wet, but not too bad.

Lomo Grill is a beautiful restaurant.  Not overly decorated or ornate, but just right.  Solid wood floors, natural brick walls with heavy wood trim and attractive almost Italian like washed walls.  The restaurant isn’t overall large, but offers plenty of room.  We visited on a Wednesday evening and when we walked in where one of two couples in the restaurant.  It was quiet and not busy, which was very nice.

Lomo Grill Inside

We elected to sit towards the middle of the restaurant, near a wall so that we not only had a little privacy, but a good view of the restaurant as well.  Our server arrived and took our drink order while we looked over the menu.  Lomo Grill has a full bar and a large assortment of wines by the bottle.  They do only offer a small list of choices by the bottle though.

Menu

The menu is chocked full of unique and delicious looking appetizers, salads, and entrees. Now is good to mention their website which is good. The best feature is that it has a current menu online. Why don’t more restaurants do this?

Since you can browse the menu, I won’t go into the details, but as you can see they have something for everyone.

Staff and Service

As our drinks were brought to the table, our server described the 3 different specials for the evening, including a special appetizer of fresh bread warmed with seasoned olive oil. I decided to go with one of the specials: Pork tenderloin scallions with mushroom demo-glaze, a baked potato and asparagus. My wife went with a more traditional rib-eye steak. We also decided to give the fresh bread appetizer a try as well.

Our server hurried off to the kitchen, while we sat, talked, enjoyed our drinks and the nice quiet atmosphere of the restaurant. Speaking of drinks, I ordered the usual Gray Goose Vodka Martini, slightly dirty with 3 olives. It was good, but a little different as I am pretty sure the vermouth was a little sweeter and more of it was used. A decent Martini none the less.

Our bread appetizer arrived a few minutes later, fresh hot and covered with a warm seasoned olive oil.  I thought it was heavenly, while my wife thought it was ok, but a little too greasy for her liking.  The bread itself was great, hard and crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside.

Bread

Our food took longer than I expected to arrive, especially considering we were one of 4 people in the restaurant. While not a concern for us as we were enjoying some time together away from the kiddos, for someone more in a hurry, I can see this being a big issue. I didn’t time how long it took our food to arrive, but if I had to guess I would say a good 20-30 minutes.

Our server was great though. Very friendly and informative about the different items on the menu. He was checked on us, but not so much as to be a bother. I tipped him well and hope to get him when we return.

When our food did finally arrive, it look delicious.  The Pork Tenderloin medallions were what I expected, but they were beyond good.  It was by far one of the best dishes I have ever had.  The pork was tender, the mushroom demi-glaze full of mushrooms with a subtle sweet taste.  It was delicious.

Pork Medallions Mushroom Demi-glaze

My wife’s steak arrived cooked as requested and looked good as well.  I’m not a big rib-eye fan personally, but she said it was a good steak.  Not great, but good.

Rib-eye Steak

We enjoyed our food, and ate way too much.  Even as full as we were, we couldn’t turn down the raspberry cheese cake for dessert.  It too was excellent.

Family Friendly

While I could be wrong, I wouldn’t say Lomo Grill is a family friendly restaurant, to my standards at least.  I didn’t notice a child’s menu nor did I see any high chairs out in the open either.   The environment and food prices would tend to imply to me to be more of adult focused restaurant, so keep that in mind if you decide to bring the whole family.

Price

Lomo Grill prices were average for this type of fine dining restaurant.  The special I ordered was $22.00 and my wife’s steak was $32.  Expensive, but really really good.  Average dinner prices range from $14 to upwards of $30.  If you’re looking for a cheap eat, Lomo Grill is not the place, but if you’re looking for great food and willing to pay for it, Lomo Grill is the place.

Our Rating

We loved Lomo Grill and will definitely be going back.  The fresh and unique food was refreshing.  We were growing tired of the same old types of restaurants with the same old types of dishes.  Lomo Grill provided us with a delicious and unique dining experience, and we highly recommend you give it a try.

Terry and Nancy Ferguson purchased the inn this past summer, and after some significant remodeling, reopened it in August of 2008. Grandview Lodge first opened 75 years ago in the old 1890 farmhouse that was originally part of an 800 acre farm. Terry and Nancy are working diligently to restore the farmhouse to its 1890s feel while working to expand their dining room to accommodate more guests.

Grandview Lodge takes their dining seriously, and does a five course dinner which is open to the public each Saturday night by reservation only. On Sunday, they also provide a brunch, again by reservation. Dinner prices range from $21.95 - $27.95 per person depending on the entrée served. Sunday brunch is only $14.95.

Grandview Lodge can accommodate up to 55 diner guests currently, but the new expansion will allow for up to 100 guests, not to mention providing increased space for family reunions, wedding parties and other groups.

On the “Bed side” of the Bed & Breakfast, Grandview Lodge has 12 guest rooms, including three suites, and a two-bedroom, two bath cottage with full kitchen. Each of the rooms is named after a prominent Waynesville family, including the Medfords, who were the original owners of the house, and the Ferguson’s own family.

We haven’t tried dinner there just yet, but have it on our list. We’ll write up a full and comprehensive Grandview Lodge review as soon as we can.

Located just off on main street in historic Waynesville, NC is one of the best fine dining restaurants in the Waynesville area.  The Sweet Onion is an upscale-Southern eatery owned by Doug and Jenny Weaver of Waynesville and Dan Elliot.

My wife and I have eaten at The Sweet Onion twice in the past few weeks, our first visit being an absolute top notch dining experience.  The second being good, but not great.

The Restaurant

Our first dinner there was on a weekend evening just before spring.  The restaurant was busy, but not overly so.  We parked right out front and walking into the restaurant, were immediately greeted with the warm sounds of conversation, cooks cooking, and the incredible smells of freshly cooked food.  To our right was what seemed to be a more formal seating area surrounded by natural wood and lots of windows.  The seating area to the right seems to be were the restaurant expanded into a store location next door.  The bar and food preparation area is dead center.  Our friendly hostess seated us to the left, in a comfortable and fairly quiet seating area.

The Menu

The menu at The Sweet Onion is amazing and contains something for just about everyone.  As I mentioned previously, the menu contains standard southern dishes but “fancied up” as we would say here in the south.  Dishes include pasta, crab cakes, steaks, fresh fish, seafood you name it.  They have an assortment of appetizers, salads (with many different dressing options), main courses, and of course desserts.

The restaurant also features an assortment of wines (both by the bottle and glass), many different foreign, domestic, and local beers (my personal favorites), and a full service bar.

Staff and Service

Our server arrived at out table and promptly introduced himself.  He explain the various specials for the evening (which sounded awesome, but in my opinion were a little over priced) and then took our drink orders.  My wife ordered a glass of Chardonnay wine, and I ordered my standard Grey Goose Vodka martini.

As our server prepared our drinks, my wife and I narrowed down our dinner selections.  My wife loves crab cakes and she decided to give them a try.  I was in a toss up between the ranch fettuccine Alfredo and the a chicken dish.

Our waiter returned a few minutes later with our drinks and my martini was made exactly has I had specified.  He asked if we were ready to order and I explained by dilemma on the menu choice, he recommended the chicken which I selected.  He headed off to fulfill our order returning a few minutes later with hot and fresh cheese biscuits that were absolutely delicious.

Our order arrived a short time later and I was surprised at the size of the portions.  We later found out that The Sweet Onion prides itself on “healthy” portions, and let me tell you, they aren’t kidding.  The amounts of food were huge, and tasted great.  The chicken turned out to be an excellent suggestion and in the past few times we’ve eaten at The Sweet Onion, it’s still my favorite dish.

Our second trip to the restaurants wasn’t as good as the first.  Our server wasn’t near as attentive, the service was significantly slower even though the restaurant wasn’t as busy and the worst for me was that they were out of Gray Goose Vodka!  While the food was still good, it wasn’t as good as the first time.  Of course even the best of restaurants has a bad night, and we’re hoping this is one of those few occasions for The Sweet Onion and we decided to not let that experience tarnish us from returning.

Family Friendly

While I certainly wouldn’t say The Sweet Onion isn’t a family friend it would be a stretch to say it is.  We’ve been there twice and neither time have seen any children in the restaurant.  I didn’t notice a child’s menu either.  There might have been one, but if so it didn’t stand out.  The environment and food prices would tend to imply to me to be more of adult focused restaurant, so keep that in mind if you decide to bring the whole family.

Price

We found the prices average for this type of restaurant and in line with similar restaurants in the area such as J. Arthur’s in Maggie Valley.  Average dinner prices were from about $12 to upwards of $30 for the evening specials.  The Sweet Onion offers Waynesville area fine dining and the prices are right in the expected area.

Our Rating

We like The Sweet Onion very much.  The staff is good, food great, and the dining experience relaxing and enjoyable.  Definitely a place we would recommend and will return to.

If it weren’t for the large Bocelli’s Italian Eatery sign out front, it would be rather easy to just drive right by Bocelli’s and not even know it was there. Fortunately we live in the area and have driven by enough times to spot it!

The Restaurant

building_smallBocelli’s is located at 319 N Haywood Street in Waynesville, NC and is located in the popular downtown and historic district of Waynesville. The building is tucked away next to a wild bird store called the “The Bird Place” and is offset from the main road. The building has a wonderful Italian feel to it, and walking up to the building from the main sign, you pass through a brick paved outside dining area that I’ll bet during the spring and summer is a wonderful place to sit outside, eat and enjoy the mountain views surrounding Waynesville.

Upon entering, you are greeting by not only the hostess, but by a statue of a rather plump Italian waiter featuring the menu.  The statue is a great touch.  Bocelli’s has two floors.  The first floor is the main dining area with a number of tables.  The second floor features the bar (they serve wine and beer only) and a very large private dining room that I would imagine could be used for wedding dinners, corporate parties, etc.  Bar seating is available at the bar, and additionally at a  few tall tables with bar stools.  We chose to sit in the bar area, but next time will most likely sit downstairs in the main dining area as it seems it would be more comfortable.

The restaurant is nice, but overly fancy and decorated to provide an Italian like atmosphere.  Everyone there was dressed casually, so feel comfortable eating in jeans, shorts, or slacks.

The only complaint I have is that the temperature inside was a bit cool.  This is however a very minor issue and had no reflection in our review.

The Menu

The menu at Bocelli’s is large.  They offer all of the standard Italian fare including Pizza, Calzones, Pastas, and Lasagna.  They also feature a number of specialties that were new to me including:

  • Shrimp Artichoke & Sundried Tomato Pasta (what my wife chose)
  • Chicken Florentine Bocelli (what I chose)
  • Totellini Campange - Described on the menu as: Mushrooms, arichokes, sundried tomatoes, and sliced Italian sausage sauteed and tossed with a tri-color tortellini in a creamy tomoto sauce.
  • Spinach and Roasted Garlic Raviolli - Pasta pockets stuff with spinach and roasted garlic tossed with red pepper pesto cream sauce and served over fresh baby spinach.

If you prefer something lighter, they offer 6 different salads along with a number of hot and cold subs.  The appetizer menu includes: Mozarella sticks, breaded mushrooms, calamari, wings and more.   For desert they offer Cinnamon Knots (fried dough rolled in cinnamon suger and drizzled with a homemade glaze), Lemoncello and Cannolis (my personal favorite).

Our Dinner

I order the Chicken Florentine Bocelli and my wife chose the Shrimp Artichoke & Sundried Tomato Pasta.  For drinks, my wife chose a glass of Reisling and I chose a local and seasonal pale  ale.  We chose to skip getting an appetizer in order to save room for some Cannoli’s later.

While our food was prepared, our waitress brought us our salads, which are included with dinner selections.  I’m not a salad eater normally, but this time I ate my whole salad.  The lettuce and veggies in  the salad were very fresh and coupled with the ranch dressing was really good.  My wife chose the house Italian dressing and said it was excellent as well.

Dinner Salad

Our food arrived shortly after we finished our salads and looked delicious:

Chicken Florentine Bocelli

Chicken Florentine Bocelli

As I said earlier, I ordered the Chicken Florentine Bocelli, which is described on the menu as:  Boneless chicken breast stuffed with spinach, artichoke and feta cheese, then baked in garlic oil and white white and served over Fettuccine Florentine.

To be honest, the dish wasn’t entirely what I expected.  I expected a full chicken breast stuffed with feta cheese, and laid on top of the pasta based on the menu description.  What I received was a diced chicken mixed with feta cheese, spinach, artichoke, a cream sauce and fettuccine.  Fortunately it was still delicious, just not what I expected.  The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was creamy and thick.  You can tell a good Italian place by the consistency of the sauce. Unfortunately it was so good I ate the whole the whole dish!

My wife ordered the Shrimp, Artichoke & Sundried Tomato pasta, which is described on the menu as: Tender shrimp sauteed with artichokes and sundried tomatoes served over angel hair pasta in a fresh basil & oregano white wine cream sauce.

Shrimp, Artichoke & Sundried Tomato Pasta

Shrimp, Artichoke & Sundried Tomato Pasta

My wife loved the dish, and her only complaint was that the pasta was a tad overdone.  The tails of the shrimp were removed, which was nice.  Nothing irritates me more than getting a shrimp dish at a restaurant and the meal arrives with the tails still on.  I also tasted her pasta, and agree it was delicious.  If we visit again, I’ll definitely have to order it for myself.

Even though we were both stuffed, we couldn’t resist getting cannolis.

Cannolis

Cannolis

When they arrived, we almost hated to eat them as the presentation was beautiful!  But I can’t imagine any presentation good enough to keep me from eating a Cannoli.  They tasted great.  Not the best Cannoli I’ve ever had, but for the price of $4.95 for two they were great!

We had also eaten lunch at Bocelli’s one day the previous week and took advantage of their daily specials.  I got the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, fries, and drink for $6.95 and my wife got a Calzone.  Both were excellent and priced right for a lunch meal.

The Staff

The staff on both occasions was pleasant and friendly, although I’d have to say that our waitress for dinner was far more attentive and personably.   She did give us a few funny looks while taking pictures until I explained why.  Can’t blame her, it is strange to see people taking pictures of their food.  The restaurant seemed sufficiently staffed and we didn’t see anyone waiting long periods of time for their drinks, food or checks.

I will say we did feel a bit rushed.  For example, once we done eating, our plates were taken and the waitress flew by saying “I’ll get your check”.  I had to call her back over to tell her we would like some dessert.  Determining if a waitress is just being courteous and trying not to make you wait vs. rushing you is always hard for me to distinguish, and most likely she was just trying to be courteous, which I do appreciate.

Family Friendly?

Bocelli’s is a family friendly restaurant.  They offer a smoke free environment, have sufficient high chairs, and offer a kids menu featuring: (for 12 and under): Manicotti, Cheese Ravioli, Stuffed Shells, Chicken Strips and fries, and Spaghetti with a meatball.  Another nice feature is that he downstairs tables are covered with white paper and children are given crayons to color with.  It’s enought to keep them entertained while waiting on the food.  Heck, it even keeps me entertained!

Price

Menu prices are reasonable and average for this type of restaurant.  Average price for speciality and dinner items is about $12.00.  Kid’s meals are $4.50.  Appetizers range $3.95 - $6.95.  Their daily lunch specials are very reasonable and priced around $7.00.

They also offer a senior (55 and over) discount of 15% off dinner entrees, Monday - Saturday 4:00pm - 5:30pm.

Hours

Monday - Thursday: 11:30am - 9:00pm, Friday/Saturday: 11:30am - 10:00pm, and Sunday 12:00pm - 9:00pm

We liked Bocelli’s.  The food and service were good and the prices reasonable.

J. Arthur’s restaurant is hands down the nicest restaurant in Maggie Valley, NC.   While on the high side price wise, the food, service, and environment are excellent.  J. Arthurs is run by the the Tierman and Mahoney family and has been in Maggie Valley for more than 23 years.

My wife and I first ate at J. Arthur’s some years back when camping in the Waynesville area.  Soon after we moved to Waynesville, we began looking for restaurants to visit on our weekly date nights.  We remembered J. Arthur’s and decided to give it a try.

The Restaurant

J. Arthur’s is a beautiful restaurant with a sophisticated mountain atmosphere located in the heart of Maggie Valley, NC.  The restaurant is two stories and has more than ample seating capacity.  Large parties often reserve the upstairs area for companies parties, wedding dinners and such.

My wife and I prefer a more casual eating environment, and thus requested to be seated in the bar area.  The entire restaurant is smoke free, which we really appreciate.  Entering the bar we found the bar situated in the center, surrounded by booth seats and in front of the bar, a warm and crackling fire filling a large rock fireplace.  We were seated in on of the booths on the far side of the bar.  One nice feature is a set of really comfortable leather chairs placed in front of the fireplace.  A great place to sit, drink your favorite drink and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace.

We enjoyed our meal there so much, we frequently visit J. Arthur’s.

J. Arthur’s Menu

J. Arthur’s has a extensive menu containing salads, steaks, seafood, chicken, and pork.  Of particular interest are their signature dishes which include prime rib, Filet Mignon, and baby back ribs.  One of J. Arthur’s specialties is their Gorgonzola salad, which if you like Gorgonzola  is absolutely fantastic.  The grilled chicken Gorgonzola salad is one of my favorite meals.

My wife is a steak eater and loves their ribeye steak served with a creamy Bearnaise sauce.  I’m not much of a steak eater at all and every so often will get one of their steaks as they are that good.  My wife also likes the steak Gorgonzola salad although she doesn’t like near as much Gorgonzola as I do and generally gets it on the side.

Another dish I would highly recommend is the Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta.  The dish is grilled shrimp, in a creamy pasta sauce tossed with sun dried tomatoes and spinach.  If you like pasta, this is a dish you can’t pass up.

Each meal is proceeded by basket of fresh biscuits and rolls.  I don’t care much for the biscuits, but the rolls with real butter a pretty decent.    Speaking of before dinner, they also have a number of various appetizers.  Our personal favorite and to be honest one of the primary reasons we go is their onion rings.  They are lightly hand battered and cooked to order and are frankly the bets onion rings I’ve had anywhere.

To be real honest, the only item on the menu we can’t say great things about is the Pork Chop which is served over apple chutney.  The pork chop was dry and frankly didn’t have much flavor at all.  This was a bit of a surprise given the high quality of the other menu items and the fact the chop is served on apple chutney.

We’re not big dessert eaters, but J. Arthur’s does have an assortment of various desserts.  The standard menu fair is okay, but what you need to ask for are the specials.  We were there one evening and they had a chocolate pecan pie, that was frankly the best myself or my wife have ever had.  So make sure you ask about the dessert specials!

The Staff

We’ve found the staff to be a mix of great and marginal.  The ladies that greet you at the door aren’t overly friendly and one of them is frankly a bit unfriendly.  The wait staff overall is great but there are a few exceptions and unfortunately one of those works the booths in the bar area.  As a result, we started sitting up at the bar, and fortunately this resulted in us meeting one of the shining stars of J. Arthur’s: LouAnne.

LouAnne is the bartender for J. Arthur’s, and not only does she make a great drink, she’s just a wonderful person to talk with.  Each time we visit, LouAnne makes our drinks as soon as she sees us.  She remembers events in our lives and our children and regardless of how busy, she always seems to make the time to spend a few minutes chatting with you.  Warning, she’s hard not to like.

Family Friendly

While we’ve never seen a large number of children, J. Arthur’s is a family friendly restaurant.  Not only do I mean they have high chairs, but they have a full children’s meal AND they have “kid’s corner” with toys, coloring books, and crayons to ensure that parents and kids enjoy their experience.  Nice tough, I have to say.

Price

I’d be lying if I told you J. Arthur’s was cheap.  It’s one of the more expensive restaurants in the area, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and J. Arthur’s in one of those situations.  The environment, combined with the quality the food makes for a great dining experience that is worth paying a little more for.

J. Arthur’s did recently revise their menu, and now offer a significant number of dinner meals that are less than $10.00.  Also note, Wednesday is buy one get one free night.  If one adult purchases an entree from the menu, the second adult menu is free.  We moved date night to Wednesday evening.

J. Arthur’s Hours

J. Arthur’s opens for dinner at 4:30 pm, 7 nights a week from May through October and Wednesday through Sunday from November through April. They also have extended holiday hours during the winter so give them a call for details: 828-926-1817.

J. Arthur’s Ratings

J. Arthur’s is currently at the top of the list for favorite dining places in the Waynesville and Maggie Valley areas. Highly recommended.
