Guayabitos is small Mexican restaurant located right in the heart of Maggie Valley. While it certainly wouldn’t win any awards for being the fanciest place, it sure should for the food. Guayabitos is a place we visit often with our kids and none of us have had anything on the menu yet that wasn’t delicious. The staff is very very friendly and prompt. If you’re looking for a great Margarita and Mexican food, definitely visit Guayabitos. If you visit during lunch, try the eggs with sausage!

The Salty Dog is a small fish camp type restaurant located in central Maggie Valley, NC.

Our overall thoughts: Not very nice, mediocre food, grumpy and stern waitress, not very clean. We won’t be back.

J. Arthur’s restaurant is hands down the nicest restaurant in Maggie Valley, NC.   While on the high side price wise, the food, service, and environment are excellent.  J. Arthurs is run by the the Tierman and Mahoney family and has been in Maggie Valley for more than 23 years.
